Airtel offers 1,000GB bonus data at Rs 599, here's how you can avail it
Airtel has introduced a new scheme called, ‘Broadband Big Byte Offer,’ under which the telecom operator is reportedly offering 500GB to 1,000GB bonus data in monthly rental plans ranging from Rs 599 to Rs 1999 to customers subscribed to its DSL services on or after June 12, 2017. This is believed to be a result of heightened competition caused especially by Reliance Jio’s disruptive data plans. The bonus data comes in speeds from 8Mbps to 100Mbps, and is valid till March 31, 2018. The bonus data plan is offering in addition to the base plan quota in each plan.
The offer which is only valid for online purchase and for customers subscribed to Airtel’s DSL services includes calls — local as well as STD.
Plans that you can avail under Airtel’s ‘Broadband Big Byte Offer’:
1) The cheapest one comes at Rs 899 and offers 60GB of data per month, plus an additional of 500GB data for the year, at a speed of up to 40Mbps.
2) Rs 1,099 plan, which offers 100GB data per month, and 1000GB bonus data, at 40Mbps speeds.
3) Rs 1,299 plan, which offers 130GB data per month, and 1000GB bonus data at 100Mbps speed.
4) Rs 1,499 plan, which offers 160GB data per month plus 1000GB bonus data at 100Mbps speeds.
5) Rs 1,799 plan, which offers 225GB data per month, plus 1000GB bonus data at 100Mbps speeds.
How to avail Airtel’s bonus 1,000GB offer:
1) Interested customers are required to ensure that they are subscribed to Airtel’s DSL service on or after June 12th, 2017.
2) Visit the airtel.in/broadband page and select your base plan, mobile number and address to raise a request for the new broadband connection. Users can take help by reaching out to Airtel’s customer care.
Things to note:
1) The additional data benefit will be applicable 7 days after activation of Airtel’s DSL connection.
2) The data benefit will only be available for use after the customer exhausts the base plan quota.
3) The unused data under the Big Bytes plan will be carried over each month till 31st March, 2018.
