Pokémon Go is now live in 15 more countries in Asia

Niantic, the developers of the Pokemon Go, announced the official launch through their Facebook page.

A month old, Pokemon Go game has finally made its way to Asia. However, the game has only been released to 15 countries across Asia, excluding India and China.

Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go game officially announced the launch in 15 new countries across Asia on their Facebook Page.

“Trainers in 15 new countries and regions across Asia and Oceania can now officially download Pokémon GO from the Play Store or App Store. Discover Pokémon in the world around you! Countries and regions include: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Solomon Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau,” wrote Niantic.

Although, the game hasn’t been launched officially in India, the augmented-reality has caught on, with fans using VPN’s to change their locations and catch Pokemon in the country. Moreover, gamers in India have used accounts linked to US or UK-based app stores to download the game. They have also downloaded the game via third-party app and torrents.

The developers has not announced any official launch date for India yet, however, we are expecting it to be released anytime soon in the nearby future.
