Google finally updates Inbox app to be compatible with the iPhone X notch
Back in April Google said that an update for its Inbox app on iOS would be coming soon and now Google has finally made the app compatible with the iPhone X’s notch. This means that there will be no more black bars on the top and bottom.
Also, this didn’t make the column, but: Inbox for iPhone X is coming. Google says soon. It did a bunch of crazy one-off interface stuff that the X totally broke, and it took way longer to update then Google expected. (Also Gmail is clearly more important.)

As per a report by MacRumors, Inbox by Gmail had been updated 13 times and none of them included the support for Apple’s iPhone X until now. Inbox is one of the last apps from Google to get iPhone X support with most of the apps being compatible earlier on this year.
As per Google’s release notes, there are no other new features in this update.
Apart from Inbox by Gmail, Google has also updated the Gmail app for iOS which now supports high priority notifications for important messages.
