HOW: The science behind Laser hair removal works
Now the interesting thing is, how laser hair removal actually works.
Mumbai: Laser hair removal is increasingly gaining popularity since the last decade. Now the interesting thing is, how laser hair removal actually works.
Under the skin, lies a color pigment called Melanin, which shields us from harmful rays. Essentially, laser makes Melanin to absorb the laser rays, which leads to the hair heating up to a well 100 degree Celsius, which evaporates the water the hair contains. Interestingly, the objective of laser is not to destroy the hair, but to use the hair to destroy the germ cells in the follicle that produce the hair in the first place.
Basically it uses the hair to destroy the hair!
