More pictures of Microsoft's next flagship leaked

The photos also show the space for a dedicated camera button, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack situated at the bottom.

The Lumia 960 was leaked earlier this week allegedly showing an early prototype, and now new images have come from the same Chinese forum provides us with a closer look at this Windows phone which never got to see the daylight.

Microsoft’s Lumia 960 was initially slated to be the direct successor to the Lumia 950. But according to the pictures the phones looks substantially different. The rear of the phone looks more similar to an HTC model than to a typical Lumia.

The design for the Lumia 960 was created with a metallic body, and the pictures confirm the presence of a USB-C fast charging, a port which was also being used on the Lumia 950 and which Microsoft refuses to use on the Surface device lineup. Reason being, Microsoft thinks that fast charging is yet not ready for prime time.

Furthermore, the photos also show the space for a dedicated camera button, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack situated at the bottom of the phone for listening to music. And also, there is also a microSD card slot for expanding storage capacity.

Previous reports have shown the smartphone with a 20-megapixel camera with triple LED flash and front facing speakers, so it’s clear that Microsoft wanted the Lumia 960 to be a flagship device by all means.
