Microsoft to launch universal Xbox apps soon
San Francisco: Tech giant Microsoft is planning to unveil its universal Xbox apps by the end of March.
The software giant is expected to launch the number of apps at the Build conference in San Francisco on March 30, the Verge reported.
"We will discuss our next steps with the Universal Windows Platform at //build later this month," Xbox chief Phil Spencer tweeted.
"Windows has always been an open ecosystem welcoming the contributions of hardware and software partners, and will always continue to be," Spencer said.
XBOX is a video gaming brand created and owned by Microsoft. It represents a series of video games developed by Microsoft.
The brand also represents applications (games), streaming services, and an online service by the name of Xbox Live.
