Bengaluru: Aadhaar will make our daily life paperless as it has opened doors for several technical innovations leading to transformation in the service delivery standards, said former chairman of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) Nandan Nilekani here on Wednesday.
After launching an innovative electronic signing feature, eSignDesk, launched by the LegalDesk.com on Wednesday, Mr Nilekani observed that digital signatures for every body is an excellent initiative. “This can make the entire documentation process paperless. It is great to see start-ups adopting Aadhaar innovatively,” he said.
eSignDesk makes signing documents possible even in the physical absence of the parties involved. This has been built on the Aadhaar platform and eSign is an initiative of the government of India that allows citizens to remotely sign any document.
“Aadhaar is expected to transform the way in which our services are delivered to the common man by ensuring speed, efficiency and transparency,” he said.
