iPhone 6 explosion leaves man severely injured
A man named Gareth Clear from Sydney, Australia suffered severe burns after his iPhone 6 exploded.
According to reports, the smartphone caught fire when Clear fell from his bike landing on his iPhone 6. The injuries were serious and the Clear underwent skin graft at Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney.

Clear took to Twitter to convey the message about the dangers of lithium-ion batteries.
Gareth Clear said in an interview that the rear panel of the smartphone was totally damaged with "metal bending and all the lithium leaking out of the bottom end", the top was "perfectly intact".
Apple reportedly told Clear that the company will be carrying an investigation into the incident.
