Facebook testing Snapchat clone inside Messenger
Facebook had earlier rolled out the same feature to its photo-sharing app Instagram.
Facebook has again tried to copy Snapchat like features in its messaging app Messenger.
According to a report by a technology website techcrunch, Facebook is testing a new feature, named ‘Messnger Day’, allowing users to photos and videos that will disappear after 24 hour, a feature similar to signature function of Snapchat. However, the feature is available in Poland for now.
Facebook had earlier rolled out the same feature to its photo-sharing app Instagram.
The feature is seen as a latest salvo between Facebook, which bought Instagram for $1 billion in 2012, and Snapchat, which rejected Facebook's $3 billion buyout offer just three years ago, as they try to attract more users.
