Google To Unveil Pixel 11 Series in India on August 13: What To Expect

Google will unveil its Pixel 11 series at its Made by Google event in New York on August 12.

The tech giant is expected to launch the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Google is also expected to unveil the Pixel Watch 5 and its first Bluetooth tracker, reportedly called Pixel Tag, alongside the smartphones.

As reported earlier, the Pixel 11 series could see a price increase due to rising RAM and storage costs. Google's Vice President of Devices and Services, Shakil Barkat, confirmed to 9to5Google that the entire Pixel family will see price "adjustments", including the upcoming Pixel 11 series.

9to5Google also reported that Google is ditching the 128GB storage option for the Pixel 11 series and will offer 256GB as the starting storage tier, with 512GB and 1TB expected to be the other options.

The Made by Google event will be livestreamed on Google's YouTube channel at 3:30 AM IST on August 13.

The base Pixel 11 is expected to feature a 6.3-inch display with up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness. It will reportedly be powered by Google's Tensor G6 chipset and run Android 17.

The Pixel 11 is expected to feature a triple-camera setup, similar to its predecessor, comprising a 48MP main camera, 13MP ultra-wide camera and 10MP telephoto camera with Super Zoom up to 30x. It is also expected to feature a 10MP front-facing camera.

According to reports, the Pixel 11 could pack a 5,000mAh battery with wired and wireless charging support. It is expected to support 30W wired charging.

The Pixel 11 Pro is also expected to feature a 6.3-inch display with up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness. It will reportedly be powered by the Tensor G6 chipset and run Android 17.

According to reports, the Pixel 11 Pro will feature a triple-camera setup comprising a 50MP main camera, 48MP ultra-wide camera and 48MP periscope telephoto camera capable of 5x optical zoom and up to 120x Pro Zoom. It is also expected to feature a 42MP front-facing camera.

The Pixel 11 Pro is rumoured to pack a slightly smaller 4,850mAh battery than its predecessor and support 30W wired charging.

It is rumoured to come in four colours: Midnight Haze, Light Fog, Pine, and Dune.

The Pixel 11 Pro XL is expected to share much of its hardware with the Pixel 11 Pro but will feature a larger display. It is tipped to come with a 6.8-inch OLED display with up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness.

It is also expected to be powered by Google's Tensor G6 chipset and feature a triple-camera setup comprising a 50MP main camera, 48MP ultra-wide camera and 48MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and up to 120x Pro Zoom. The phone is also expected to feature a 42MP front-facing camera.

The Pixel 11 Pro XL is likely to pack a 5,115mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging. It is also rumoured to come in four colours similar to Pixel Pro - Midnight Haze, Light Fog, Pine, and Dune

Google's most expensive smartphone is expected to feature an 8-inch inner display and a 6.4-inch outer display.

Like the other Pixel 11 models, the Pro Fold is expected to be powered by the Tensor G6 chipset. It is also tipped to feature a triple-camera setup comprising a 48MP main camera, 10.5MP ultra-wide camera and 10.8MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and up to 30x Super Zoom.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is also expected to feature two 10MP selfie cameras, with one placed on each display.

According to reports, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold could pack a 4,806mAh battery with support for 30W wired charging.

Fold is likely to be offered in two colours: Midnight Haze and Pine.
