Google is set to unveil its new Pixel smartphones and a smartwatch on August 20 at an event in New York, US.
The tech giant is likely to launch four new smartphones - Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold, all powered by Google’s artificial intelligence technology.
The foldable smartphone by Google will debut weeks after Samsung introduced its thin Galaxy Z Fold 7, priced at Rs 1,74,999.
Google will also unveil a fourth-generation Pixel watch along with smartphone next month.
The Google Pixel 10 will closely resemble the Pixel 9 series, but with upgraded processors. The Pixel 10 series will be powered by the new Tensor G5 processor, produced by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) instead of Samsung. The Tensor G5 chip will be built on TSMC’s 3nm process.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold will not match the Samsung’s Z Fold 7 but it is set to have new features. The 10 Pro Fold will be affordable than Samsung’s new foldable smartphone.
The Pixel 10 will reportedly feature a triple-camera setup, including main and ultra-wide sensors similar to those in the Pixel 9a, along with a telephoto lens.
The Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL are expected to retain their existing camera configurations. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold might also adopt the Pixel 9a’s primary sensor.
The Google Pixel 10 series will debut with Android 16, which is set to feature a redesigned, bolder user experience.
