Google Mocks Apple’s Delayed AI Features in New Pixel 10 Ad
Apple has reportedly been delaying the release of the AI-powered Siri due to “bugs and engineering problems”

Apple launched the iPhone 16 in 2024 with the introduction of Apple Intelligence and the promise of releasing a new AI-powered Siri. Nearly a year later, Apple has yet to deliver on that promise.
Now, Google has taken a dig at Apple’s delay with a new ad for its upcoming Pixel 10. In the 30-second commercial, the narrator says, “If you bought a new phone because of a feature that’s coming soon, but it’s been coming soon for a full year... You could just change your phone.”
Apple has reportedly been delaying the release of the AI-powered Siri due to “bugs and engineering problems.” According to Bloomberg, the company had initially planned to introduce the new AI features in iOS 18.5 in May, but is now targeting the iOS 26 software cycle next year.
The new ad also teases the launch date of the Google Pixel 10 lineup, scheduled for August 20, 2025.
Earlier, Google mistakenly revealed the Pixel 10 series ahead of the official launch. Android Authority discovered a banner showcasing the full Pixel 10 lineup while “poking around” the Google Play Store. The banner displayed all four devices with the caption: “Meet the new Pixel 10 Series.” The Pixel 10 appears in blue, while the Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold are shown in silver.
Google is expected to unveil four smartphones — Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold — along with the fourth-generation Pixel Watch next month.
