Jacob & Co Crafts Vantara-Inspired Watch for Anant Ambani

Luxury watchmaker Jacob and Co has unveiled a million-dollar watch made for Anant Ambani, India’s billionaire businessman Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's younger son. The watch, named Opera Vantara Green Camo, is inspired by Vantara, the wildlife rescue and conservation initiative by Anant in Gujarat.
The America-based brand launched the piece on January 21, 2026, as a tribute to the wildlife conservation initiative. Inside the dial is a hand-painted figurine of Anant Ambani, flanked by a lion and a Bengal tiger. The hands of the watch sit on the trunk of an elephant, positioned above the figurine.
Jacob and Co shared the details in a January 21 Instagram post: “The Vantara was conceived as a tribute to Anant Ambani’s Vantara — one of the world’s most ambitious wildlife rescue and conservation initiatives, based in Gujarat, India. At the center of the dial sits a hand-painted figurine of Anant himself, symbolizing stewardship and responsibility. Surrounding him, finely detailed depictions of a lion and a Bengal tiger represent the wildlife Vantara is dedicated to protecting. Framing the scene is a green camouflage gemstone motif, crafted from demantoid garnets, tsavorites, green sapphires, and white diamonds — 397 stones totaling 21.98 carats.”
Anant himself owns a collection of luxury watches. He has made headlines by wearing extremely rare, high-value watches during his pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar in 2024. Priscilla Chan, Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg's wife, was famously filmed admiring one of Anant’s Richard Mille watches during the wedding festivities.
