Apple iPhone 16e Launch: Features, Price in India

Apple has officially unveiled its latest iPhone model - iPhone 16e - in India. Apple has expanded the current series with this new model, touted to deliver a “breakthrough battery life” and affordability in comparison with all other models so far. Customers in India will be able to pre-order iPhone 16e beginning at 5 a.m. PST on Friday, February 21, with availability beginning Friday, February 28.

Better battery, better price:

Talking about battery, the model is powered by the A18 chip and the new Apple C1, the first cellular modem designed by Apple and promises to deliver extraordinary battery life.

Aside from the battery life, its most persuading selling point might be the price factor. In India, the newly launched ‘budget’ model is priced at Rs 59,900.

- 48MP Fusion camera, with an integrated 2x Telephoto

- The model features a 6.1-inch display, along with the toughest back glass in a smartphone.

- Face ID enabled by the TrueDepth camera system.

- The model supports Apple Intelligence, while simultaneously taking a step forward for privacy in AI and includes Apple's first in-house C1 5G modem.

- Convenient charging options, including both wireless charging and USB-C for easy connection to a wide range of accessories.

- The device offers a single 48-megapixel rear camera and a 12-megapixel front camera.

- Apple also introduced a customizable Action Button in the e series.

- Phone 16e is available in white and black in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage capacities.
