Lume cube has another kickstarter project that could take smartphone videography to the next level. Life Lite, a light source that can be fitted to any smartphone or DSLR camera will help you illuminate your subject so that your videos don’t look dull.
It sells as a kit with two lights or Dual Cube and a GoPro mount bar or can be bought as separate single Cubes or Dual Cube kits. A Quad Cube kit is also available and all are priced at $179.99, $79.99, $149.99 and $299.99 respectively. Lume Cubes can also be attached to drones with video cameras for professional videographers.
Each Cube is wirelessly controlled via Bluetooth using a simple app from your smartphone. They are fully adjustable with flash duration and brightness control.
Designed to be small, light and mounted and paired to your devices, you can now take photos and videos in low light as well as in pitch dark environments. The Cubes each has a rechargeable battery that can be charged using any USB port available and the LED lights within can produce up to 1500 lumens of brightness.
Lume Cube is waterproof up to 10 metres, features a magnetic mount and tripod mount for easy attachment, measures just 1.5 x 1-inches and a battery operation of 30 minutes.
