Dolby Surround Sound 7 is usually a feature you find on music players or speaker systems. Kingston has added this to its latest headset -- HyperX Cloud Revolver S -- and what's more, you can switch to Dolby by plugging in a special USB dongle.
The headphones are aimed at hardcore gamers and the new breed of e-sports fans who expect to view 3-D action. The frequency response goes all the way from 12Hz, to 28KHz at the high end. There are 3 presets for equalizing channels in addition to independent volume controls. At 376 grams the head set may seem a bit on the heavy side, but good, soft ear pieces and a metal headband which takes away the weight from the head, compensate. It works with all well known gaming consoles. The microphone lets you take mobile calls on the headset and comes with a degree of noise cancellation.
