HP's new Spectre x360 laptop starts from Rs 1,15,290 in India
HP has unveiled its revamped Spectre x360 convertible laptop in India. The highlight of the new model is the presence of an eighth generation Intel Core range of processors — particularly the eighth generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors. The Core i5 model starts at Rs 1,15,290 whereas the Core i7 model goes up to Rs 1,57,290.
The Spectre x360 is equipped with up to 512TB PCIe SSD for storage and support up to 16GB LPDDR3 RAM. It sports an all aluminium body and becomes a tablet when folded to 360-degrees.
The keyboard is backlit and consists of glass trackpad. There’s a 13-inch display with full HD resolution and protected with Gorilla Glass. The display also has thinner bezels. It comes with a built-in fingerprint sensor and an IR camera for using facial recognition to unlock the laptop.
HP has also built in safety features that include a fingerprint reader located on the side for easy access, HP Sure View integrated privacy screen option to eliminate visual hacking with one quick keystroke, and HP Wide Vision FHD IR camera to login with facial recognition.
HP also bundles a pen with the Spectre x360 that supports Windows Ink apps on Windows 10. HP claims up to 16.5 hours of battery life for the Spectre x360, which charged from zero percent battery life to 50 per cent on a 30-minute charge with HP Fast Charge technology.
