Nikon has officially launched 7 new models in addition to the company’s already existing COOLPIX series. These cameras come with numerous features including water-resistant and shock-resistant abilities, Underwater Face Framing, Cartoon Effect and more.
The company’s COOLPIX series already consisted of COOLPIX S700, L340, P900 and AW130. Now the company has added the following new cameras: B700, B500, A900, A300, A10, W100 and A100.
Nikon’s COOLPIX B700, B500, A900 and A300 come with the latest SnapBridge feature with allows users to remain connected to their smartphones.
In addition to this, Nikon’s COOLPIX A900 and B700 -- both of which are priced at Rs 23,950 -- come equipped with 4K resolution. The B700 sports 20.3MP backside-illumination CMOS image sensor that is designed to capture scenes and portraits in sharp detail.
On the other hand, the A300 (priced at Rs 7,950) is equipped with Target Finding Auto Focus (AF) that ensures focus on desired subjects. HD movie recording option in 720/30p format is also available with this model.
Nikon’s A900 COOLPIX is targeted towards travelers. This compact-sized camera comes with 35x optical zoom and 70x Dynamic Fine Zoom. The A900 also holds the ability to record videos in 720p format.
Another new introduction with these models is the ‘Superlapse’ movie function that comes installed in COOLPIX B700 and A900. Users can save still images from recorded movies or while recording movies through this function.
Nikon’s A100 comes in 4 color variants including silver, black, purple and red at a starting price of Rs 6,450.
