Its barely been two months since the Apple iOS 12.4 and watchOS 5.3 were launched which made their way to the 2018 iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.

Today, the final versions of both the releases will go out. The changelog for iOS 12.4 includes the addition of a wireless data migration feature which will help people transfer their old phone’s data to the new ones.

There are also fixes for the Apple Watch’s Walky Talky app, which brings back the push-to-talk feature. iOS 12.4 also updates the Apple News app and makes the process of finding subscription publications online and offline easier.

iOS 12.4 also improves the Apple HomePod as the HomePod Software 12.4. The smart speaker is now being localised in Japan and Taiwan.

WatchOS 5.3 now adds an ECG app for electrocardiography and irregular heart rate notification support to users in Canada and Singapore. This is so because the company has to receive local approvals for its ECG feature in different parts of the globe. ECG access is now available in 30 regions.
