Acer announces new Chromebook 11 series

Acer claims that these notebooks are specifically designed for education purposes by making it durable and affordable.

Acer has announced the Chromebook Spin 11, Chromebook 11 C732, and Chromebox CXI3. These devices support Google Play and run Android apps as well. Acer claims that these notebooks are specifically designed for education purposes by making it durable and affordable.

Acer unveiled a new Chromebook called the Spin 11, which comes with a 360-hinge and 11.6-inch touchscreen. The Chromebook Spin 11 has two options for processors which include quad-core Pentium or Celeron. Spin 11 sports an 11.6-inch touchscreen IPS display at a resolution of only 1366 x 768. Acer claims this notebook to have a decent 10 hours of battery life. The Spin 11 also supports two USB 3.1 ports.

The Acer Chromebook 11 C732 is an education-focused notebook. It features an 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 IPS touchscreen panel and is equipped with a quad/dual-core Celeron processor. It also features a built-in LTE connectivity. It sports two USB-C 3.1 ports alongside two USB-A 3.0 ports and a microSD slot. This Chromebook is IP-41 rated in terms of durability and also has a non-touch screen variant.

Further, Acer has also introduced a new Chromebox called the CXI3. It has maxed out specs with up to an eight-gen Core processor and has one USB-C 3.1 port, five USB-A ports, HDMI, Ethernet, and microSD. It comes with a stand for vertical orientation and an optional VESA mounting kit.

The new Acer Chromebook 11 C732 with a non-touch display will be available with either 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of eMMC storage. The C732T with an IPS touchscreen display will be available with either 32GB or 64GB of eMMC storage. Both will offer up to 8GB of RAM. The new Acer Chromebook 11 C732 will be available at prices starting at $299.99 for touch models and $279.99 for non-touch models.
