Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi 4A smartphone at a price of Rs 5,999. Apart from that, the company also announced its second manufacturing unit in partnership with Foxconn at Sri City, Andhra Pradesh.
On the specifications front, the Redmi 4A smartphone sports a 5-inch HD display and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with an Adreno 308 GPU. The device boasts a 13MP rear camera along with a 5MP front-facing camera with Beautify for great selfies. The smartphone packs a 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM and a 3120mAh battery.
The device is available be Dark Grey, Gold and Rose Gold colour variants and comes with support for 13 Indian languages, local SMS features like copy OTP and other India specific enhancements.
