Users are finding it hard to get their hands on Reliance Jio SIM cards, but that won’t be the case with Reliance Jio’s JioFi 4G hotspot device. The company has silently launched a new variant of its JioFi 4G wireless hotspot.
The device now comes with an OLED display and packs in a bigger 2600mAh battery. The device is priced at Rs 1,999 and will be available on Reliance stores across the country.
Aesthetically, the new JioFi is larger in size and features square shaped with rounded edges. The hotspot also shows the signal strength, battery life and also shows whether the power is on/off.
It comes with a rechargeable battery that claims up to 5 hours of usage on a single charge. The Reliance JioFi 4G Wireless hotspot enables users with non 4G devices take advantage of 4G LTE connectivity using the Jio Join app.
JioFi devices will give users access to unlimited 4G data until December 31, after which they can decide to opt for company’s cheap data plans.
