Samsung launches world's first LED for Home'
Samsung has launched the world’s first ‘LED for Home’ in India, which is also known as 'Active LED,' the first-of-its-kind LED designed exclusively for Home is expected to revolutionise the in-home entertainment space by providing new visual experience to the consumers. The panel was launched in Mumbai during InfoComm 2018, a dedicated trade fair for Pro-Audio Visual and integrated Experience Technologies in India.
This next generation of Home Display technology is aimed at HNIs, working professionals, and affluent and aspirational millennials who prefer a cinematic experience and consume incredibly defined audio-visual content on a super-premium screen, within the comfort of their homes.
Samsung’s ‘LED for Home’ promises to deliver incredible visual definition along with an almost completely bespoke cinema experience where - even the display can be made to fit any unique home setting due to its modular configuration and device agnostic features. This Active LED comes packed with next-generation technologies put together thereby producing an immersive viewing experience. The revolutionary screen boasts of a slim, sleek design, and fitted with Modular Formation Technology that allows users to customise the screen size and shape to fit into any desired location.
Samsung’s ‘LED for Home’ comes with the HDR Picture Refinement Technology that brings together brilliant, true-to-life imagery and crystal clear visibility, which stays uniform and unaffected by ambient light in the surroundings. The series includes 110-inch FHD, 130-inch FHD, 220-inch UHD and 260-inch UHD.
The Electro-static Discharge (ESD) certified Active LED is low maintenance and promises to deliver long-lasting performance with a lifespan of 100,000+ hours. In a bid to ensure quick and convenient maintenance, the device comes with flexible front and rear access to critical components. The new series of home screens range starts from 1 crore and goes up to 3.5-crore depending on the size.
