Gida's Yoky tag to help you recover your lost possessions
We all seem to have come to a heart-breaking point in our lives wherein we have forgotten our phones behind or lost our keys. Gida’s new gadget, Yoky Tag makes It easier for its users to track your possessions.
How it works?
The Yoky Tag works by maintaining a wireless link such as Bluetooth with the smartphone. This link helps you find the product that is tagged through the use of your phone.
The tag doesn’t need to be charged as it comes with replaceable battery that lasts for a year. It has safe locations, ensuring you don’t get irritated with alerts when moving around at home or at your office. Through the use of software and hardware optimisations, it also ensures minimum impact on the phone’s battery.
Specifications
The device has a maximum range of 150 feet, and works on smartphones with Bluetooth 4+ and iOS 8+ or Android 4.3+. It has a built-in 32-bit ARM cortex SoC, a 500mAh replaceable battery that lasts for at least 12 months, and 3-axis high precision accelerometer. The Yoky Tag app is available for free, and can connect up to 8 tags at any time.
Other features
In addition to helping you keep a track of your items, the Yoky Tag also acts as a fitness tracker. It accurately measures your steps and estimated distance and calories. Its advanced algorithms prevents mistaking car/bike rides from actual steps.
Users can customise their tag with their own photos or designs using a simple tool that is available on their store.
