Sennheiser has announced a new in-ear wireless earphone in India. Called the MOMENTUM in-ear wireless headphone, it costs Rs 14,990 and provides the user with a premium build.

The new MOMENTUM In-Ear Wireless Headphone has a sleek ‘neckband’ design with two ear pods originating from either end. The band is draped in premium Nappa leather for a comfortable experience and the ear buds are made of milled stainless steel. There are media control buttons on the edge of the band.

The headphone drivers have a frequency range of 15Hz-22,000Hz and feature an omnidirectional microphone for clear voice quality during calls. It features a rechargeable 170mAh battery that Sennheiser claims to get topped up in 1.5 hours. On extensive use, they can provide a music playback time of 10 hours, which sounds good for a wireless headphone.

For connectivity, the MOMENTUM In-Ear headphone uses Bluetooth 4.1 and NFC. The earphone supports A2DP, AVRCP, HSP and HFP and Qualcomm apt-X audio formats. It features voice prompts to notify you of the pairing and battery status. You can also connect it to up to two devices at the same time; get vibration alerts for an incoming call and use it as a wired headset over USB.
