Sony introduces new in-car audio with Android Auto & CarPlay XAV-X100
Sony India has launched XAV- AX100 an offering for in-car receivers and players. The XAV-AX100 includes the latest smartphone connectivity with a new user interface.
The XAV-AX100 enables smarter driving and aids to navigate, communicate and play music from your phone with intelligent voice control or touch panel control. All this is possible through Android Auto and Apple CarPlay (Navigation is not enabled for CarPlay in India yet) which makes it easier to use a smartphone on road.
Android Auto extends the Android platform into the car in a way that’s purpose-built for driving. With a simple interface and new voice actions, it’s designed to minimize distraction so users can stay focused on the road.
Unified connectivity with Apple CarPlay
CarPlay allows one to use smartphone in a safe and smart way whilst staying focused on the road, letting one access Apple Music, make phone calls, and send messages all through the touchscreen, or vocally with Siri.
Unique technology delivers optimal sound
The audio quality is supported by the 55watts x 4 Dynamic Reality Amp 2 and EXTRA BASS low boost circuitry which overcomes engine noise. XAV-AX100 comes with rear USB and rear camera input for easy parking. It also has Bluetooth connectivity and supplied with external mic.
The Dynamic Stage Organizer (DSO) adjusts the signal creating the illusion of dash-mounted virtual speakers to provide an ideal, high quality sound experience for the journey.
XAV-AX100 will be available through car accessories shops and car showrooms across India at a price of Rs 26,990 in Black colour.
