Sony unveils three high power audio systems

These three one box style High Power Audio systems feature an integrated spread sound generator.

Sony India has unveiled three new High Power Audio systems in an all-in-one box style design named – MHC-V81D, MHC-V71D and MHC-V41D in the Indian market.

These one box style High Power Audio systems feature an integrated spread sound generator. In addition, MHC-V81D is dustproof and its top surface is splashproof along with a 360-degree LIVE SOUND. The MHC-V71D is equipped with a LIVE SOUND feature which promises to give a high-quality music output. The MHC-V71D and MHC-V81D models have flashy 360-degree party lights. With additional 2x tweeters, the MHC-V81D claims to achieve 360-degree sound field.

The speakers are accompanied by “Fiestable” app, where a user can control party features that include DJ Control effects such as Sampler (Drums/Voice/etc.), and EQ.

On the connectivity front, the speakers support Bluetooth and NFC. The integrated Wireless Party Chain Bluetooth feature allows users to connect up to 50 compatible systems together. A user can also have multi-device connectivity and all the three systems are enabled with NFC for seamless streaming. The LDAC promises to allow sending approximately three times more data than conventional Bluetooth audio for a superior wireless listening experience. There's also a Music Centre app for browsing the music libraries. It also lets one control music and sound settings right from the phone. The Fiestable plug claims to put the user in charge of light colours and enables one to activate DJ and karaoke modes.

The design of these audio systems appears to be portable as it has wheels and handle bar to carry around. The systems are also embedded with an option for a built-in DVD/CD player and HDMI output.

The audio systems additionally feature a new TAIKO mode, as the name suggests in Japanese, allows one to use their High Power Audio one-box system like a drum. Furthermore, there's a new guitar input mode that promises to generate guitar overdrive sound effects without the use of a professional guitar amplifier. The user can plug a bass guitar into the High Power Audio system to boost the bass and produce awesome sounds.

All the High Power Audio one-box systems come with gesture control feature and lastly, the systems have Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE), which promises to help boost the quality of any compressed music files.

All of Sony’s MHC series sound systems will be featured in a Black colour variant and the MHC-V41D is priced at Rs 30,990, the MHC-V71D and MHC-V81D are priced at Rs 41,990 and Rs 51,990 respectively.
