Zero Zero Robotics is launching its Hover Camera Passport – a 13MP passport size foldable camera that detects, follows and records users around during their travels. The prototype was first revealed earlier this year and after securing over $25 million investor funding, Zero Zero Robotics is officially launching the foldable quadcopter.

The camera is priced at $599 (approximately Rs 40,000) and includes two batteries, each one of them good for up to 10 minutes of flight time. The camera is designed to record moments in 4K video and 13MP photos. The quadcopter camera can be controlled with both Apple and Android smartphones through an app.

The Hover Camera Passport can reportedly fly at up to 17mph and climb up to 16ft along with a range of up to 66ft. The device even comes with face-detection software that is designed to follow the users around as they travel.

The Hover Camera Passport weighs merely 242 grams and can capture 360 degrees of panoramic video.

"Since first announcing Hover Camera in April, we've had a chance to listen to our community's feedback to create a flagship model that is not only more technically advanced, but tailored to their travel and photography needs," said Mengqiu Wang, CEO and Cofounder of Zero Zero Robotics in a statement to Prnewswire. "Hover Camera Passport encourages you to look up from your screens and enjoy your memories unrestricted, exploring the world from your own point of view. We're excited to share our first step towards a new future with the world, and can't wait to see what our users will capture."

The camera is available for sale on their website priced at $599.
