One computer with Two Screens: How have Laptops changed over time

The advent of dual-screen laptops has been taking the tech world like a storm.

Once upon a time, laptops were known for their compactness and portability. As a consequence, the leading brands put their most creative minds on eliminating different ports of the stationery machines, to give rise to ‘thin and light’ laptops. However, the tide of technology is never known to remain constant. With the present-day advancements, brands are gearing up to introduce more advancements in the portable machines. As a result, it’s time to welcome the dual-screen laptops.

The advent of dual-screen laptops has been taking the tech world like a storm, rising to centre stage at this year’s Computex event. Packing two screens in a singular machine, these prototypes are a great tool for creative and passionate gamers. Furthermore, given the rapid digitalisation around us, dual-screen prototypes perfectly cater to the growing needs of content creators, multi-tasking professionals, instructors, and students.

With the second display screen mostly placed right above the keyboard, users can easily multitask. Thus, while gamers are enjoying a high adrenaline game, or content creators are editing a video on the main screen, the secondary screen can be used for managing the Spotify playlist, browsing social media, or anything else. Without further ado, let’s get acquainted with these exceptional machines, ushering us all into the future of laptops.
