Sony introduces FDR-X3000 action cam with 4K recording
Sony has launched its new action camera, the FDR-X3000. The camera is priced at $399.9 (approx Rs 26,000) and will be available on company’s official website. The highlight of the camera is its 4K recording capabilities.
Sony used the Optical SteadShot technology and a 7.20 mm Exmor R CMOS sensor to shoot in the low light conditions. The BIONZ X image processor helps in recording 4K videos at 100 Mbps. The camera has an f/2.8 aperture.
The new action camera is waterproof, dustproof and shockproof. It can withstand up to 60 meters under water. It is equipped with a ZEISS Tessar lens and has a memory card slot, micro HDMI output, multi/micro USB terminal and stereo jack.
The FDR-X3000 also offers WiFi connectivity and has a built-in GPS. The action camera is available in two models – FDR-X3000R and FDR-X3000. Sony FDR-X3000R comes bundled with Live-View Remote Kit and FDR-X3000 has a waterproof case.
Sony is also offering a finger grip and MC protector as additional accessories. The company is yet to announce the pricing and availability of the camera.
