Lenovo launches Windows 10-powered Ideapad 100S in India at Rs 14,999

Mumbai: Expanding its range on affordable laptops in India, Lenovo has launched a new Windows-10 powered laptop at just Rs 14,999.

Although the version of the IdeaPad 100S launched in India varies from the initial one revealed at the IFA last year, the tweaked version also packs decent configurations.

The Laptop is equipped with an 11.6-inch display (1366x768 pixels), quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor clocked at 1.83GHz, and 2GB DDR3L RAM, which is commensurate to its affordable price.

While the storage capacity of only 32GB is extremely less, the unit will offer expandable storage via MicroSD card.

Well, this laptop may not be the fix for people looking to store loads of data or play high-end games but this device does have a lot to offer for travellers and users on-the-go.

The laptop is sleek and weighs just 1KG; you can seamlessly travel with it or carry it whenever you are stepping out of your house.

In terms of audio, this small machine utilises Dolby Advanced Audio, which has been known for its superior quality acoustic performance.

It also has a VGA camera for video calls and pictures. In terms of connectivity, it offers myriad options such as Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, HDMI, head phone jack, and microphone port.

The 2-cell 39Whr battery on this device is also decent and the company has claimed that it will last for a period of eight hours. The device will be exclusively available on Snapdeal for now.
