Now, a smartwatch specifically aimed for gamers
Gamers are kept entertained, thanks to smartphones, tablets and other such handheld gaming systems like Nintendo Switch. One segment that still remains majorly unexplored are smartwatches.
A Kickstarter venture FMTwo Game is working on a wearable device called Gameband that is specifically aimed for gamers. The company’s campaign for the same started off with a goal of $75,000, but has already managed to crack the $100,000 mark with still a month left to go. Five classic Atari titles have been announced for the device including Asteroids, Pong, Breakout, Centipede and Crystal Castles.
The smartwatch will come with more general options such as calendar, contacts, weather, alarm, a music player and Alexa voice control. It also features a microSD card for expansion and is designed to connect to both, iOS and Android smartphones via Bluetooth.
The smartwatch comes in three different designs including a basic model with a black body and strap, a red Atari edition and a Terraria edition.
The company is currently seeking more funding for the Gameband on Kickstarter.
