Innovative TV claims to be able to resist Indian heat, dust and humidity

German Consumer Electronics Brand Telefunken has launched a new Smart TV. Named FHD Smart TV ‘TFK40S’ it shall retail at a price of Rs 16,999 on e-commerce website Amazon.

The LED TV is said to come with Full HD Resolution Display, a 64-bit quad-core processor, and Box speakers, there's also software features like Streamwall UI and Movie Box.

 

The latter shall provide users with range of certified apps like Hotstar, Zee5, Sony Liv, Voot, Alt Balaji, Jio Cinema, etc. and more than 7000 movies.

However, what really sets the TV apart is the claim that it is built for Indian weather conditions. "The Smart TV is exclusively designed to match the ever-changing Indian weather conditions which makes it, Heat Resistant – tested up to 45°C continuously for 240 hours, Humidity Resistant – tested up to 90% relative humidity and Voltage Fluctuation Resistant – tested up to +/-20% normal voltage levels (100-240V). The TV is engineered to reduce the entry of dust particles with 30% smaller ventilation slots placed at an optimal position on the back of the TV," says a statement from the company.

More on the hardware aspects of the device, it shall have Quantum Luminit Technology, Full HD (1920x1080p) resolution and a 20W Built-In Box Speaker. The Smart TV runs on Android 8.0 version and it comes with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB ROM that ensures a seamless experience.

It is also said to have multiple connectivity options which include 2 HDMI, 2 USB, HDMI ARC, 1 Optical Output, Ethernet, etc. It can even make your smartphone a mouse or screen mirror with Eshare. However, the software could keep improving as it is also promised to receive regular over-the-air updates.
