Vu 100 launched in India with 4K HDR, Rs 20 lakh price tag
Vu has introduced a massive 100-inch TV called Vu 100 at an event in Mumbai. The TV sports a 4K Ultra HD resolution with HDR10 that helps in providing a superior viewing experience. The brand has claimed that this is the first 100-inch 4K HDR television that is available in the world and it also boasts A+ grade IPS panel that is said to produce 2.5 billion colours.
The Vu 100 features a soundbar that is home to 8 Dolby-certified inbuilt JBL speakers and a woofer that have an output of 2000W and the brand claims that it ensures you hear every sound with pristine clarity. The television comes with Android 8.0 Oreo, which is also a first and it is powered by a quad-core CPU and has a GPU that is capable of playing 3D games. The television also comes with a quad-core processor and 2.5GB of RAM. Apart from this, owners get full access to apps from the Google Play Store. The television also has Chromecast support. Apart from this, the Vu 100 comes with support for voice commands where you can control other smart devices in your home such as smart lights.
As far as connectivity goes, the Vu 100 features three HDMI ports, HDMI ARC/CEC, two USB 3.0 ports along with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and an Ethernet port. You also get an AV input, RF frequency and an optical out port. This 100-inch 4K LED TV weighs a whopping 104kgs.
