Leaked: Xiaomi Mi 6 to sport Snapdragon 835 SoC
There have been a lot of rumours and speculations surrounding the Xiaomi Mi 6 smartphone. The latest information now suggests that the device is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC and will officially be launched on April 16, 2017.
According to a report published by Gizmo China, an undisclosed source has revealed that Xiaomi’s next flagship will be released next month with the date likely to be April 16. The source also says that Mi 6 will still be the first domestic smartphone sporting the Snapdragon 835 chipset.
The report further revealed that the smartphone is expected to sport a 5.2-inch LCD display with 2.5D glass and a ceramic variant. The camera, according to the tipster sourced in the report, will be similar to that of Sony Xperia XZ Premium. The Xperia XZ smartphone comes with a 19MP rear camera with Sony’s new Motion Eye camera system.
Previous leaks have suggested that the Xiaomi Mi 6 will come with 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4.0 technology and a 4000mAh battery.
The expected price of the device is roughly Rs 25,000.
