If value for money is defined by how many different avatars the same device can assume, Zebronics' Esteem wins hands down. It looks and feels like a small torchlight and indeed, one of its roles is that of an LED torch. Slide out the torch head and you access a USB port and a 32GB microSD card slot. The USB is used to charge a 2000mAh battery which can be used as a power bank for your phone.
When Bluetooth-paired with a phone or player, the Esteem switches roles and becomes a 3W speaker which can also access music on the SD card. The main on-off switch toggles to accept incoming calls, play/pause the music or switch functions to an FM Radio mode.
Plus and minus buttons are used for volume control. By default the device has a voice confirming all your commands. And to add to the utility, they throw in a holder which clips the Esteem to a bicycle handlebar. This little Swiss Army Knife of a charger-speaker weighs just 110g and is a steal at Rs 1,449.
