No really, for the Alexa creator has announced a new Echo Input Portable Smart Speaker.
Called the Echo Input portable it combines hands-free access to Alexa with a 4800 mAh rechargeable battery. Designed to be moved around in your home it has 360-degree audio which shall recognise your voice from no matter where you speak inside a particular room, according to Amazon. Available for pre-orders, the new device has been marked at Rs 4,999 and shall ship to customers starting December 18th.

 

Retaining older features like turning off mics for privacy, access to 750 hindi skills, ability to control smart home appliances and access entertainment and music content it can now also listen to you while music is playing.  With its four-microphone array, Echo Input Portable enables customers to talk to Alexa from across the room.

Apart from this, obviously is the ease to keep moving it around the house sans wires, for upto 10 hours on a single charge as per Amazon.
