RDP launches its ThinBook ultra laptop in India

Priced at Rs 9,999/-, the RDP ThinBook comes equipped with Genuine Windows 10 and ® Atom Processor.

RDP recently announced the availability of the highly anticipated, RDP ThinBook ultra slip laptop for customers across India at a press event. It is India’s most affordable 14.1” laptop in its segment, available under Rs 10,000/-.

Speaking on the availability of the RDP ThinBook, Mr. Vikram Redlapalli, Founder & Managing Director, RDP Workstations Pvt. Ltd., said, “At RDP, we believe that a lower price point at the cost of performance will not be accepted by the end consumers. We are proud to make the ThinBook available to consumers across India and are confident that the consumers will appreciate the overall package that has been designed to deliver sturdy performance and good looks all under INR 9,999.”

The event was marked by the presence of Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, Minister of Information Technology, Government of Telangana and Mr. Jayesh Rajan, Secretary – IT, Electronics and Communications Department, Government of Telangana.

This laptop has been developed in strategic association with Microsoft and Intel. The device comes packed with the Intel® Atom™ x5-Z8300 Processor. The on-board high speed USB 3.0 allows 10X data transfer speeds vis-à-vis USB 2.0 offered on similarly-priced laptops.

Speaking on the occasion, Anand Ramamoorthy, Director – Consumption Sales, Intel South Asia, said, “This is a part of our ongoing effort to digitize India, one person at a time. The new RDP ThinBook, offered at an attractive price point and available nationwide, will contribute to this story of digitizing the country.”

It comes with a storage space of 32GB and up to 128 GB of expandable storage. The 14.1” LED display is surely one of the primary features of the laptop. It comes with 2G RAM and wide range of connectivity options. The device has a 10,000 mAh Li-Polimer battery and dual HD speakers.
