Huawei Watch GT release date coming soon

Huawei has teased the wearable on their official Twitter account.

Back in October Huawei first unveiled the Watch GT and since then India has been waiting for it to bring its latest wearable here. Now, Huawei, on their official Twitter account has teased the Watch GT and has stressed on the incredible battery life it has on offer with the hashtag #OneChargeTwoWeeks.

For those not in the know, the Huawei Watch GT is targeted at fitness enthusiasts and apart from teasing it on Twitter, they have also listed the product under the wearables section on their website.

The Huawei Watch GT has a design that’s similar to a traditional watch but has a range of smart features that put it in the smartwatch category. This watch is resilient to accidents because of its ceramic bezel design, stainless steel shell and DLC coating. Measuring in at a mere 10.6 mm and featuring a double crown 1.39" 454 x 454 AMOLED screen, thereby making it quite slim.

The highlighted feature here is undoubtedly the 2-week battery life. Commenting on this feature Huawei states that by introducing a double chipset architecture an new design, the smartwatch is able to provide a two-week battery life.

HUAWEI TruSeen 3.0 heart rate monitoring technology provides a more efficient and accurate real-time personal measurement of your heart rate by using a self-learning algorithm and innovative sensors.

The Huawei Watch GT also has support for 3 Satellite Positioning Systems — GPS, GLONASS and GALILEO worldwide to offer more accurate, faster and precise positioning.

You can also stay Fit with the Huawei Watch GT that provides coaching in introductory to advanced running courses to assist you in real-time while also providing guidance training and giving time-movement effect feedback.

The Huawei Watch GT features a range of sensors such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, optical heart rate sensor, ambient light, and barometer sensor. Lastly, it is compatible with handsets running Android 4.4 and above or iOS 9 and later.
