Whenever we talk about bringing disruptive technology to the table, Apple leads the pack, be it touchscreen phones, Wi-Fi, fingerprint sensor and more. But there are some places where Apple falls behind such as large displays, music streaming or reasonable prices.
Fortunately, Apple has finally embraced one of its most highlighted omissions: wireless charging in its latest iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. These devices use Qi charging technology to wirelessly fuel themselves.
These smartphones can also be charged using any Qi-compatible charging pad such as the Mini Qi Wireless Charging Pad. This charging pad is simple to use; just place the phone on top of it and it automatically starts charging. Not just that, it can also charge any other Qi-compatible Android smartphone such as the Galaxy S8.
