The iPad Pro is a computer, insists Apple
Apple’s iPad Pro can be called a well-made “computer “ that allows people to type on keyboard, but also allows them to kick the keyboard out of the way to use fingers or doodle with the Apple Pencil.
On August 2, 2016, Apple released an ad claiming the iPad Pro is a computer.
“Imagine what your computer could do if your computer was an iPad Pro,” reads the ad’s tagline. The ad showcased everything that makes iPad Pro a computer like device—the Smart Keyboard, the Apple Pencil, Microsoft Word, Safari, iBook, Photoshop, iMessage and more.
"Just when you think you know what a computer is, you see a keyboard that can just get out of the way. And a screen you can touch... and even write on. When you see a computer that can do all that, it might just make you wonder hey, what else can it do?”
The iPad Pro is available in both 12.9-inch and 9.7-inch model at a price of $799 (approx. Rs 53,000) and $599 (approx. Rs 40,000) respectively.
