Deepinder Goyal To Soon Launch ‘Temple’ Wearable Device in India

Temple is designed to continuously track cerebral blood flow and oxygenation in real time
The wearable is expected to cost around ₹72,000 to ₹80,000 in India.
Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal is set to launch a wearable device called “Temple” in India soon.
Temple is a tiny wearable device that is placed on the temple, the area between the forehead and the ear. It is designed to continuously track cerebral blood flow and oxygenation in real time. Athletes, including PV Sindhu, have recently been spotted wearing the device.
Temple is currently in the testing phase. In a post on X, Deepinder said the current version is less than half the size of the device people have seen so far. He also claimed that Temple is the smallest wearable device on the market.
“Temple is now less than half the size of what you've seen so far. Volumetrically, Temple is now the smallest wearable on the market, and the most^10 powerful. Living and training with Temple is going to change your life,” he wrote on X.
Goyal had earlier said that the Temple team had discovered a biomarker that can be measured only in the temple region, which they have named “Entropy.” According to Goyal, Entropy is a live metric that changes depending on the level of activity the body is engaged in at a given moment.
“It's a live number on Temple's home screen, updating every second, on an index from 1 to 250,” Goyal said.
“1 is the deepest rest we've ever recorded. We've only seen fit, experienced meditators touch it, for fleeting moments deep in practice. 250 is the highest we've seen in elite athletes at the peak of their output and flow,” he explained.
“Everything moves Entropy. Sleep, stress, a sprint, coffee, a meal, a cold plunge, meditation, strength training... everything moves your metabolism, your cost of being alive. And Entropy tracks it, live,” he added.
Deepinder said the company will soon begin taking pre-orders for a limited launch edition of the Temple device, with shipping expected before the end of 2026.
According to reports, the wearable is expected to cost around ₹72,000 to ₹80,000 in India.
