Apple To Roll Out Apple Intelligence in India With iOS 18.4 Update

Apple has confirmed that Apple Intelligence will be rolled out in India with the iOS 18.4 software update.

Apple Intelligence was initially introduced in October 2024 with the iOS 18.1 software update for iPhones, but it was limited to select languages. With the iOS 18.4 update, the company is set to expand support to more countries.

“Apple Intelligence will soon be available in more languages, including French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (simplified) — as well as localized English for Singapore and India,” Apple said.

Apple has also confirmed that the iOS 18.4 update will be released in April. “These new languages will be accessible in nearly all regions around the world with the release of iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4 in April,” the company said.

The company will introduce a new feature called “Priority Notifications” with the iOS 18.4, which enables users to manage their notifications by prioritizing important alerts. Apple Intelligence will show important notifications in a separate section on the Lock Screen.

Apple will expand Image Playgrounds with a new style with the upcoming software update.
