Apple Set To Launch Six Major Products Next Week

Apple is set to hold its “Surprise and shine” event on September 9, and the tech giant is expected to launch six major products at the event.

The company is expected to launch the iPhone 18 Pro models and its first foldable iPhone next week. This year, Apple is reportedly not launching the base iPhone 18 model, which is rumoured to be pushed to March 2027, alongside the iPhone Air 2 and entry-level iPhone 18e.

Apple’s new CEO, John Ternus, teased a “phenomenal” iPhone launch next week in his first remarks to employees.

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and its first foldable iPhone next week. The iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max are rumoured to feature Apple’s A20 Pro chip, new colours and a smaller Dynamic Island. The iPhone 18 Pro Max is also rumoured to get a larger battery and a variable-aperture main camera.

Apple is also expected to launch its first foldable iPhone, rumoured to be called the iPhone Ultra, alongside the Pro models.

The tech giant is expected to launch two Apple Watch models — the Apple Watch Ultra 4 and Apple Watch Series 12. The Watch Ultra 4 is rumoured to feature new health sensors and an updated design, while the Watch Series 12 is reportedly set to come with an upgraded S-series chip, an always-on heart-rate monitor and more.

The sixth product Apple is expected to launch is the AirPods 5, rumoured to come with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) variants and a new chip.

There have been rumours that Apple could launch camera-equipped AI AirPods this September, but Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported that the product is expected to be unveiled in 2027.

Rumours indicate that Apple is also likely to launch a HomePod Touch with a 7-inch touchscreen, HomePod mini 2 and a new Apple TV 4K with a more powerful chip and AI-powered Siri.
