Apple Rumoured To Launch iPhone 17 Pro in Sky Blue Colour

Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 17 series this September, and months ahead of the launch, details regarding the colour options of the iPhone 17 Pro models have already leaked.

According to leaker Majin Bu, Apple may launch the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max in a new Sky Blue colour. “Sources close to the supply chain confirm that several iPhone 17 Pro prototypes have been made in various colors, with Sky Blue currently the frontrunner. In prototypes, it reportedly looks even more stunning than the much-loved Sierra Blue of the iPhone 13 Pro, with a brightness and refinement that make it irresistible. Unless Apple changes course at the last minute, this will be the star of the September 2025 launch event,” writes Majin Bu.

The Sky Blue colour, rumoured to come to the iPhone 17 Pro models, already made its debut on the M4 MacBook Air in March 2025. This colour was a hit on the MacBook Air, and Apple is expected to capitalize on its popularity by bringing it to the iPhone 17 Pro lineup.

Every year, Apple offers standard grey variants for the iPhone Pro models and typically introduces one new colour. In 2024, Apple launched the iPhone 16 Pro in a Desert Titanium finish.

However, as Majin Bu notes, it’s still too early to confirm which colours Apple will ultimately choose for the iPhone 17 Pro.

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 17 series in four variants: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max/Ultra. The iPhone 17 Air will replace the Plus variant this year.
