Despite being a central figure in the franchise, Hrithik and NTR Jr get Rs. 35 crore each

There are reports out now that suggest that NTR Jr. was paid Rs 12 crore more than Hrithik Roshan for Yash Raj Films’ opus War 2, which opens on 14 August.
A close friend of Aditya Chopra says that this claim is completely false. “There is no truth to this. Where do the gossipmongers get these financial details? Did Tarak tell them? Did Roshan tell them how much the two stars were paid?’ The truth is, Hrithik and Tarak have been paid an equal amount, somewhere around Rs 35 crores each. And in fact, Hrithik insisted that two superstars be paid on a par.”
Incidentally, NTR Jr. and Hrithik Roshan became buddies during the shooting of War 2. “They worked out together at the gym, and Tarak spent many evenings having dinner with the Roshan family, even cooking for them,” says a friend of Aditya.
