Theft in Zoya Akhtar’s Production House; Two Arrested
66 hard disks worth around Rs 13 lakh went missing from the office

Mumbai Police have reportedly arrested two men in connection with the theft of 66 hard disks containing unreleased film and web series content from Tiger Baby Digital LLP, the production house run by filmmakers Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti.
The missing drives reportedly contained raw footage, edited material, post-production backups and unreleased archives linked to projects including Made in Heaven, Ghost Stories, Gandhi Money and a Nykaa ad campaign.
The theft came to light when employees discovered that several original hard disks had allegedly been replaced with empty or damaged boxes.
Police identified the accused as Mohammad Shahid Azim Khan, an office assistant entrusted with handling and safeguarding the storage devices, and Ritesh Shah, who allegedly purchased the stolen hard disks.
During questioning, Khan reportedly admitted to stealing the drives over a five-month period and selling at least 24 of them for `15,000–20,000 each. While the stolen hardware is valued at around `12–13 lakh, the potential leak of unreleased content could reportedly result in losses worth several crores.
