Aamir Khan confirms that he and Gauri Spratt are getting married

Aamir Khan has confirmed the rumours that he will be marrying his live-in partner, Gauri Spratt. Responding to this, Aamir said, “I’m currently travelling in the US. The marriage news is true. It’s on 5th July.”
In an interaction some months ago, Aamir had told this writer that marriage was not a looming issue in his relationship with Gauri, as they were happy living together in the new home they had acquired.
Referring to that comment, Aamir said, “Yes, that is true. But now we both feel we are ready to take our relationship to the next level.”
Describing this as a very happy phase in his life, the actor said, “I am at peace. Gauri and I are really serious about each other and we are in a very committed space. We are partners. In my heart, I’m already married to her. So, to formalise our togetherness just seems a natural progression.”
