The Teen Innovator

With AI reshaping how medical professionals diagnose and treat heart disease, 14-year-old Siddharth Nandyala’s refurb is not just a breakthrough — it’s a life-saving marvel.

Siddharth Nandyala doesn’t believe in waiting for the “right” moment. When he has an idea, he immediately pursues it. Starting small, being consistent is his success mantra. Above all, he believes in what he is doing. Focused, hard-working and determined — that, in a nutshell, is all what Siddharth Nandyala, the 14-year-old CEO of two companies and the world’s youngest AI-certified professional, is all about.

“Age isn’t something I focus on — it’s more about the work and the difference it can make. I enjoy what I do, and I’m passionate about building things that can create impact,” smiles Siddharth, in conversation with Hyderabad Chronicle.

All eyes were on the teenage CEO when he arrived for a meeting with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu recently. “It feels exciting and humbling to be the founder and CEO of two companies at 14,” says Siddharth, who hails from Anantapur and is now based in the US.

He is certified by Oracle and ARM, which makes him a recognised AI expert.

CircadianAI

Siddharth developed CircadianAI, an AI-powered app that can detect heart disease in a record seven seconds with a staggering 96% accuracy — all through a smartphone. His groundbreaking technology has been tested on over 15,000 patients in the US and India, including trials at Guntur Government General Hospital, where Siddharth personally demonstrated the app’s effectiveness. “Circadian AI has been an idea I’ve been developing for the past few years, but it’s only in the last six months that it truly began to take shape,” informs Siddharth. Artificial intelligence is the core of the concept, which analyses heart sounds from a simple smartphone recording. “It allows us to provide immediate insights into someone’s cardiovascular health. It’s built with the goal of making early screening more accessible and scalable, especially in areas where traditional diagnostic tools aren’t readily available,” he elaborates.

What did he discuss with CM Chandrababu Naidu?

“We discussed Circadian AI; our conversation focused on how medtech innovation can be leveraged to save lives and improve access to care,” informs Siddharth. They also talked about building solutions that aren’t just cutting-edge but also scalable and relevant to real-world challenges in healthcare. “We’ve also been speaking with leaders in other states as well, investigating how to expand partnerships and impact.”

Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan also extended his congratulations, recognising Siddharth as a shining example of how young minds can harness technology for the greater good.

Challenges

Gaining traction in the early stages is one of the biggest challenges Siddharth has faced as a young entrepreneur. “Overcoming that meant building trust through action — delivering results, being consistent, and creating a clear narrative supported by achievements,” he points out. No fixed path. Siddharth, currently a freshman at the University of Texas at Dallas, is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science and has always believed that learning doesn’t need to follow a fixed path.

“I’ve taken an accelerated approach to my education to make the most of my time.” While balancing academics with entrepreneurship can be challenging at times, Siddharth has found that staying focused on his long-term goals helps him manage both effectively. “There’s definitely a lot to learn, but I see that as part of the journey,” he says.

Biden, Obama & Siddharth

Siddharth received letters of congratulations from both US Presidents Joe Biden and Barack Obama. “It was incredibly special. They felt like a validation not just of my work, but of the broader idea that innovation can come from anyone, at any age,” smiles the teen CEO.

What’s coming?

“My future plans include continuing my studies while expanding CircadianAI into new markets. I want to grow the platform into something that can be used globally, especially in communities where access to early diagnosis is limited,” says Siddharth, whose work is considered a giant leap in healthcare innovation.

A golfer

Outside of his work, Siddharth enjoys playing golf and chess. “Both activities challenge me in different ways and give me a chance to reset and think creatively,” says the teenager, who also enjoys learning about tech, healthcare, and beyond.
