Telangana HC Quashes Drugs Case Against Navdeep

The drugs case registered against actor Navdeep has been quashed. The Telangana High Court noted that no narcotic substances were found in Navdeep’s possession.

Advocate Venkata Siddharth, who argued on behalf of Navdeep, told the Court that the actor’s name appeared only in the FIR of the case and that no drugs were found with him at the venue of the incident. He also stated that none of the items seized from the spot were linked to Navdeep.

Agreeing with these arguments, the High Court observed that it is not appropriate to continue a case without proper evidence.
